WHAT?

The Tour de Lions is an annual charity bicycle ride through scenic, rural Randolph County.

WHEN?

Saturday, May 11, 2024.

Sign-in occurs from 7:00am until 8:15am.

The ride itself begins at 8:30am, rain or shine!

WHERE?

The Ride begins and ends at Providence Grove High School, 5555 Mack Lineberry Rd, Climax, NC 27233.

WHY?

The ride is organized by the Grays Chapel Lions Club to address a number of needs in our community and beyond. Click here to find out more.

ROUTE(S)

13, 22, 40 and 62 mile routes will be offered with the start and finish at the school. The course will go throughout rural Randolph County. All courses are rolling to hilly. Minimal traffic and beautiful scenery are the order of the day for this scenic course.

Rest stops will be located approximately 15 miles apart along the course. Personal support teams are welcome. Sag wagons will be available. Support will be available until 1:30 p.m.

WHAT YOU GET

  • All participants get a "Tour de Lions" t-shirt.
  • Course maps and participant numbers.
  • A wide variety of refreshments will be available at each rest stop and the finish.
  • Lunch will be provided.

REGISTRATION FEE

  • $25 per person - in advance
  • $30 per person - day of ride (cash or check only)
  • $20 per person for tandem riders
  • $10 per person (age 13-16)
  • Free for children 12 & under*

*Riders 12 years & under must be accompanied by parent or guardian
